New Federal legislation requires that general education teachers take a
more active role in implementing and developing the IEP's. We are all
going to have to figure out how to protect confidentiality without
keeping things so private that nobody knows what to do.

Most of what works for special needs kids is common sense and good
teaching practices. Sometimes we accidentally hit on something that
solves a problem or removes an obstacle. It is important that we share
with each other so that when we find something that works for an
individual, we communicate that clearly to other educators who are or
will be working with that student.
