Subject: Free "Pre-cycling" Workshop

Hello Pinhole-readers
The Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) is offering a FREE workshop
titled: "The Science of Packaging: Beyond Store Shelves and Landfills" on
Saturday, Sept. 19 at the SFSU Downtown Center, 425 Market St., San
Francisco.
The workshop features two speakers: Dr. Robert Testin, Professor, Clemson
University, Department of Packaging Science and Dr. William Rathje,
Professor University of Arizona, founder of "The Garbage Project".
The workshop includes lunch (!) and free lesson plans, posters, etc.
I am neither encouraging nor discouraging your attendance: this flyer
appeared in the Teacher Institute mailbox, and it sounded interesting.
You must pre-register: call 1 (800) 331 5652 for more information.
FPA maintains a website where you can find out more about this non-profit
organization:

Aloha,
Lori Lambertson
