Subject: Exploding Gummy Bears?

Hi everyone,

Working on a growing collection of gummy bear experiments and need your help.

A while back I heard from another teacher that there is a way to get gummy bears or
gummy type candies to explode (?) in a chemical solution (?). Has anyone here ever
heard of this before or know how it is done?

I've also have found a gummy candy making kit that uses agar. Has anyone been able
to come up with ideas to use Jello powder to make them?
