Subject: PHYSLab - Summer Workshop

A great NSF sponsored program for physics teachers is offered during the
summer. PHYSLab is a three week program offered at three sites: Portland,
Oregon; Omaha, Nebraska; and Palo Alto, California. Instrumentation is
emphasized with teachers using computer interfaces and CBL's. If you are
interested, contact Lowell Herr, founder of PHYSLab, at herrl@catlin.edu. I
attended PHYSLab '97 in Palo Alto under the direction of Clarence Bakken.
It was a very worthwhile experience. You may also want to visit the PHYSLab
homepage at www.physlab.catlin.edu.
