First you get the Figs, but seriously folks.....

The Newton is kg * m/s2 so in the earth's gravity of 1gravity which is 9.8
m/s2 , 1 kg equals 9.8 N. So a single gram is .0098 N......

For middle school you could probably get away with .001N per gram......
