Subject: Homer Hickam at NASA/AMES
Homer Hickam- of October Skies fame-will be speaking at NASA, Tuesday
April 27 from 4-5pm. High school science teachers are invited to
attend, and have hot dogs and stay to watch the movie, too, if they
choose.
Mr. Hickam was a coal miner's son inspired by Sputnik to build
rockets-he went on to enter the science fair-and now he IS a rocket
scientist!
