Dear Pinholers,
I have a student question that I could not answer to my satisfaction. The
question is: In a car generator the electric current is generated until
the battery is fully charged. In order to do this the generator is
creating more electricity than is needed to run the car. Once the battery
is fully charged, does the generator generate less electricity? If not
where does it go?
