Hi,
Aside from Paul's light hearted solution, you must have a sealed bucket if
yoyuwant to fill it with helium to make it "lighter". Also you could grind
off some of the metal without compromising its ability to hold water and that
would make it lighter. Also take the bucket to the Moon, where everything is
"lighter".
