Teacher Training on keeping research journals for science fair projects
will be held from 8:30 am -12:30 pm on July 15 at Synopsys, Inc.
Synopsys has generously offered to host the meeting at their campus at
700 Middlefield Rd. in Mountain View as part of their larger commitment
to the Synopsys Silicon Valley Science and Technology Championship.
Lunch will be provided.

Mark Okuda, an East Side Union HSD advanced placement biology teacher
will offer his insights gained through research courses at SJSU and his
teaching at Silver Creek HS. Mark also taught a Synopsys supported
science research summer school course at Silver Creek this summer.

Pat Castro, a long-time member of the Santa Clara Valley Science and
Engineering Fair Board, will also be in attendance to answer questions.

This meeting is open to all high and middle school teachers whose
students live in the Championship's geographical area.
