Notes on specific heat:

Ammonia has a higher specific heat than water c = 1.23 cal/deg/g

You do not have to include rotations of single atoms in the calculation of
the specific heat nor the rotations of linear molecules about their
longitudinal axis. At all reasonable temperatures these rotations are
locked into their lowest energy state.
