Subject: PreEngineering Teacher Needed

Thurgood Marshall Academic High School, a public high school in San
Francisco with a focus on math science and technology, is looking for a
PreEngineering Teacher. PreEngineering is a one-semester project based
class that all 9th grade students take. Right now some of the projects
are an egg drop, roller coasters, working with the Lego robotics kits,
electronics, etc... A curriculum is available, but there is also
flexibility to add your own ideas. We have a machine shop at the school
that could be used for projects. The goal of the class is to get students
doing hands on projects and to build interest in science, math, and
technology.

If you are interested, please contact Nicci Nunes via email
(inunes@muse.sfusd.edu) or telephone (415) 695-5612 x3100.
