Subject: Homemade heat sensistive switch

Anyone have a simple heat sensitive switch that I can
make out of simple materials? I would prefer one that
switched on with rising temp and then switched off
with lowering temp. I'm wondering if I can make a
"minature" HVAC system when I do energy next year. Has
any one attempted to design a HVAC model? My kids love
the "underground" tour of our school boiler and
lighting systems and I wanted to see if we could
replicate a complete system using junk.

With firm handshake,
Raleigh
