Subject: growing school gardens conference

Join teachers and garden coordinators to promote efforts to create "a
garden in every school".

SLUG and the San Francisco School Gardens Collaborative, which Karen M is a
member of, are having a mini conference this thursday March 5, from 4-6.

There are two sites for the conference.
SITE 1 Rooftop Alternative School at 443 Burnett Avenue, near Twin Peaks
has the theme
"Using the Garden as an Outdoor Classroom"

SITE 2 Bret Harte Elementary School at 1035 Gilman next to (3Com)
Candlestick park has the theme "How to Establish a School Garden"

Refreshments provided. Call Simon at SLUG for more information and to RSVP!

It will be a fun time!
